Not bad for someone who really doesn't get around to playing many blue hedgehog games, though...right? This is a very different style of music for me, so I'm just happy that I was up to the challenge.
well
its hard to write reviews based on remixes based on games i have never even heard of, but it is a nice piece
Haha, this is true. As long as you enjoyed the music, that's what matters. :)
wind
is not easy to envision with music, but you did
I am one with the wind. It flows through me, and I through it. Whoosh~!
there is a reason why its called trance
because thats what it put three of my friends in when i downloaded it
Nice! Those three friends don't happen to be Newgrounds users too, do they? I'd love to hear what they have to say, as well...once they came out of their trance, of course! :D
Thanks for the props! Very much appreciated.
im crying
I have always had a secret passion for of a revolutionary feel and you my friend hit it on the pin of the needle.
I am both surprised and pleased to see such a response. It's not the first time my music has brought forth such strong emotion, but for some reason it always makes me feel particularly accomplished; like I somehow managed to take hold of someone's heart strings through song. All tears are blessed, and tears of joy most of all. Thank you for the immense compliment.
calming
while also energizing!(ill make sense of it later) it truly gives that soothing happiness that you beat the game along with the sadness that its over and the uplift for the hope of a sequel
"All life begins with Nu and ends with Nu... This is the truth! This is my belief. At least for now..."
hmmm
Like you told me, good reviewers think alike and i nearly slammed my computer shut when i thought you rickrolled me, other than that very nice use of the piano
I have no interest in rickrolling anyone, so no worries. Thanks for complimenting me on the original piano progressions! I'm quite proud of those, myself. ^_^
just... wow
To me it seemed slightly repetitive but you make up for that by perfectly envisioning snow with the choice of notes
I'm glad you like it! It may be just a tad repetitive, but I've always been rather partial to this wintry composition. It has a very distinctive bassline and percussive section. Let it snow!
harpsicord?
I know i spelled it wrong but did you use a harpsicord for this piece at any point?
I was hearing it in a few sections
Oddly enough, no harpsichord was used in this particular piece, though tons of other instruments were. I do use it fairly often, however, so I can see why you would think so, and there is one in particular that could easily be taken for harpsichord (imo), so that's probably what you're hearing.
most of your work is good but
THIS IS JUST JAW DROPPINGLY RELAXING! The only thing i would have done is switch the bell effect you use as the main instrument with a piano in order to symbolize the how ancient the thought of the angel truly is
Heh, yeah...this one's got that super chill kind of vibe going on. I used electric piano for the main melody/harmonies, but it could be changed to Steinway easily enough. I don't really use e.p. very often, but I really like it for this personally. You have made a very interesting point, though. Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad that you dig the totally relaxing effect of the music!
If you need a review, I'll give it. If you want an idea, I got it. As for anything else just ask.
