nicely done

quite simply a feel good piece of musical art, no complaints on this one

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks, and it's good to hear! As long as the music evokes some kind of emotional response from the listener I have done my job successfully.

so this is your first submission

and one of my personal favorites, its music like this that takes your soul, grabs it by the heart and takes it to higher places

ChronoNomad responds:

Yeah, this is where it all started for me as a contributing audio artist here on Newgrounds. Why, it feels like it was only months ago....

--Wait a second...it was! :D

Thank you very much for such a poetically poignant review!

wow... just wow

Another nice piece by this well self-made artist. When I came upon this piece I noticed it had a score of 2.66 (flip the bird to a few zero bombers) so I voted 5 to up it .26, it truly saddens me when someone can vote zero but not have the guts to write a review stated why and showing their face.... cowards

ChronoNomad responds:

You know the score, man. I hate to see any audio artist getting blasted by the zero bombers. Of course they can't explain themselves because they're just going through the audio submissions and clicking zero because they have no lives. Very sad, really.

Thank you for the review and for voting 5! I've come close to removing a couple of songs due to zero bomb activity, but amazing users like you always help turn things around. :D

another nice piece

Its almost like this artist captures the idea of whatever he's doing, puts in a computer and turns it into music. I can easily imagine the wind flowing around me eventually picking me up sending me into the current of air.

ChronoNomad responds:

Up, up, and away! Thanks for the props. I do try. :)

wow

can't think of anything to say other than catchy and upbeat

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks, chaosdrakath! I'm glad that you dig the jam. :)

hmmm

the ONLY reason I'm not giving this a ten is the title, this is a well put together piece that is by no means repetative(something that i really admire about this artist) the only con in this list of pros is that something called on the edge to me should sound a little more... well... edgy

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks for the honest criticism, man. For all intents and purposes, you are entirely correct. This is pretty laid-back for gazing down over the edge, but that's probably because I'm generally a rather calm, cool, and collected kinda guy. I guess that's what happens during a life where you've pretty much seen it all.

In the end, the painful truth is that naming songs can be hard. Sometimes I come up with something and I think "Yes! That's perfect!" while other times I may not be entirely happy with what I pick. This one feels pretty right to me, but of course that doesn't mean it will match the music for someone else. Well, I guess that's my two cents worth. I'm happy that you still drop by and offer up so many fine reviews. Thanks again!

wow

the only reason im not giving this a ten is because of recording quality, i can't understand half of the lyrics do to it... sorry dude

BrandonHicks15 responds:

Heres the lyrics ( and thx for the score btw)

"Packed up my bags,
I'm on my way to nowhere.
I'm so High-Low, my empty eyes hide nothing,
I'd give a clue, I was broken by you, but you
haven't stopped break'n me in!

(chours) Breaking me in, Break me out of my skin!
Shoving me in my own self!
Breaking me in, Break me out of my skin!
Shoving me in my own self.

Packed up my bags, I'm on my way to the station.
I'm so High-Low, I think I might need a face lift.
I'd give a clue, I was broken by you,
But you havn't stopped break'n me in!

(Chours x2)

(Music/ words- "Just pack your bags. It's time to leave. Where are you going?")

(Chours)... end!

It's played in Drop-D....
Notes in order are: A, C, A, A flat, F...... thats it. Really simple.

a well put together piece

i can't find anything really wrong or glitching, now if i can just find a place to download game soundtracks for free

ChronoNomad responds:

I use a YouTube-to-mp3 converter for all my game music needs. You should give it a try. Thanks for the quick review!

nicely done

well done my friend but if you were trying to make something to "sound like insanity" i would go with more high notes and make it a little choppy simply to imitate the edgyness and slight paranoia that comes with the package

ChronoNomad responds:

Thanks for the review, chaosdrakath! I certainly hear what you're saying, and if I were to do a similar idea today it would probably sound a lot different. I composed this quite a few years back, but I figured it would be fun to add to my collection here on Newgrounds. Other pieces like Darkness and Nightmare are much more current.

Of course, there are many different types of insanity...

wow

you got da funk in yo soul!

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

Thanks for your kind words :]

If you need a review, I'll give it. If you want an idea, I got it. As for anything else just ask.
